Hey everyone,
I’m feeling a bit lost when it comes to choosing the right smartwatch. I need something that lasts for a decent amount of time, with basic smartwatch features like notifications with the ability to reply, call features with the option to accept or decline calls, sleep tracking, steps, running, auto activity detection, blood oxygen, blood pressure, stress measurement, and more.
The issue is, there are so many options from different brands, but each one seems to have something missing. For example, I was considering the Galaxy Watch Ultra or Galaxy Watch, but they come with issues like inaccuracy, poor battery life, and feel overpriced for what you get. Then, I looked at Garmin, which has great quality but lacks some of the smart features I’m looking for. I’ve also thought about the Pixel Watch, but it’s not offering anything new compared to the others.
I currently have a Samsung Galaxy phone, and honestly, I’m just lost with all these options. Any suggestions?
Oh, I also thought about the Galaxy Fit 3, which has some of the features I need at a decent price, but it doesn’t quite have the full smartwatch experience.
If you don’t really need all the advanced features of WearOS, I’d stay away. The battery life is terrible, usually just a day or two. It’s the same issue with iWatches in the Apple world. Garmin could be a good middle ground—it’s pretty advanced but still has decent battery life. Unfortunately, no ‘known’ brand currently offers a smartwatch that isn’t bulky, so for now, I use a cheap, slim Chinese watch while waiting for better options…
Check out the Huawei GT5 Pro! It’s a solid smartwatch with great features and an amazing battery life that lasts a whole week. Plus, it’s lightweight and comfortable for everyday wear. It’s definitely one of the best if you want both style and performance.
My suggestion is to decide what features are most important to you and focus on that. There isn’t a smartwatch out there that combines all the best features from brands like Garmin, Apple, and Samsung. You’ll have to pick what matters most to you and prioritize that.

Yeah, you’re right. There’s no one-size-fits-all smartwatch that has everything. I think I’ll go for the Ultra because it works well within the Samsung ecosystem. As far as I know, it’s better to have a smartwatch that fits your ecosystem than to go for a decent one that’s outside of it. Since Samsung isn’t releasing the second generation anytime soon, I’ll get this one. If I find out it has issues or if the second gen is much better, maybe I’ll trade it in. Otherwise, this will be my watch for a while.
