What is the best Hybrid Smartwatch for under $300?

Im looking for something that has a decent battery life, has basic features like alarms and timers and ideally can play offline music to my earphones (although I might be asking for too much at that price range).

I dont really care about media controll or app connectivity at all - actually having less notifications would probably be better, but standard smart watch functions like heart rate+ sleep monitors and contactless payment would be cool!

Any advice?

TLDR: Title

There are a few Garmin watches that have the features that you are looking for and are within the price range you want like VivoActive 5 and Venu 2

They look great but they arent hybrid watches. Im really looking for something with an analog clock face.

Note that a hybrid watch is considered to be a smartwatch that has mechanical hands or a mechanical watch that offers smart features (connects to phone and maybe vibrates or hands move when phone gets a notification).

I am not aware of any hybrid smartwatch that offers offline music played from the watch - can they control the media your phone plays when connected - sure not a problem - but offline music no.

As to whether it has alarms and timers etc that depends on whether its a smartwatch with mechanical hands or a mechanical that offers smart features, and these mechanical with smarts tend not to.

Your best options for a hybrid would be the garmin vivomove or crossover series (one of the few hybrids that includes built in gps - this is a full fitness watch which the other hybrids aren’t); or withings. For a mechanical with smart assistance look at kronaby. For nfc payment some of hte garmin vivomove like the vivomove trend, and the garmin crossover offer nfc pay. I think there is the odd mechanical with smarts that can offer it via a watch strap but normally limited to a specific bank only.

My suggestion would be to skip the offline music (very heavy on any watch re battery life - most only offer 3-7 hrs of continuous play) and maybe considerr the garmin instinct crossover - up to 28 days battery life (70 with solar), built in gps if you want to track activity; some of the best health features on any smartwatch; and includes some training metrics (if you ever decide to take advantage of all the fitness features); plus its super durable including 10atm water resitatnce rating (so can use for high speed/pressure water sports).

I have the just released Ticwatch Atlas Watch from Mobvoi still sealed for sale…PM me if interested…Thanks!
