Before, I had a Huawei GT, which I was a fan of the look. I’m looking for something in the 100-300 ballpark and has good sleep, heart rate, and decent workout features, while having a clean look.
This is probably the 500th post on recommendation bit I appreciate it
My problem with the Apple Watch is I would never charge it at the right times to get the sleep tracking. When/if ever they make the battery life 5+ days, I’ll get it.
After my Charge 5 died, I decided to buy something else, so I watched a lot of videos and read reviews of other trackers, but found that only the Apple watch was better at tracking sleep than the Fitbit. So I ended up buying another Charge 5 even though I know it will die the next day when the warranty expires. On YouTube you can find reviews from the guy “The Quantified Scientist”, he compared many trackers with polysomnography.
Fitbit is. Apple is slightly more accurate but gives no info at all. Samsung decent after the deep sleep update. Huawei way too much deep sleep. Garmin is a joke, after hours at work it still thought I was sleeping.
Apple, fitbit and whoop are the top 3 (imo) that track sleep so well. Other companies are good but not up to par. Check out The Quantium scientist on YouTube.
Garmin. Garmin has monumentally better fitness/training data than whoop. Apple Watch might come close in some things, but it still loses to Garmin in battery life (even the ultra). Apple Watch is a far superior smart watch and has the ability to use a multitude of apps to increase functionality. There’s an app that largely duplicates whoop and many enhanced fitness tracking apps. But it won’t connect to power meters nor does it have the first beat stuff (all the nifty metrics that Garmin has). But from just fitness/sleep? Garmin.
