Looking for a thin smartwatch that tracks flights climbed… is it possible?

Hey everyone, I’ve been using a Fitbit for a while now, starting with the Charge 2 and currently on the Charge 5. But it’s time to upgrade, and I’m considering options outside of Fitbit. One thing I didn’t like was how they removed the flight climbed feature after the Charge 4.

Another thing is that I don’t like the bulky design of most smartwatches. A lot of models, like the newer Fitbit versions and Apple watches, have a big square or round screen that sticks out. What I’m looking for is something slim, with a smooth band that sits flush around the wrist.

Does anyone know if there’s a modern brand that fits all of these features? I really liked the Charge 4, especially for counting steps, heart rate, sleep tracking, and flights climbed, with a slim profile. I’ve heard good things about the Garmin Vivofit 5, but it doesn’t track floors. Does such a band exist? Thanks for the help!

I’ve found that there are very few smartwatches that are truly thin, and most of them come from lesser-known brands.

I have a list of some options here:

The Huawei Band 7 (not the 8 or 9) has a decent design, but I’m not sure if any of them track stairs well. And even if they claim to, I’m not sure if they do it accurately… sorry about that.

If you’re after a “thin width” where the device and band are almost flush, you might want to look into smart bands rather than smartwatches.

Finding something for a slim wrist is even rarer. I try to keep a list of options for that as well:
