Is the Amazfit Active really worth the extra price compared to the Redmi Watch 5 Lite?

I’m looking to buy a new smartwatch for Christmas (for myself) since my Amazfit Band 5 is getting old (scratched screen, small display, a bit laggy, etc.).

I want a watch with a square screen, not too big, basic features, and a call app. (NO CROWN, because I use it at work and can’t have one). I don’t need extra apps or notifications from other apps on my smartwatch.

Right now, I’m stuck between the Amazfit Active and the Redmi Watch 5 Lite. They both have the features I’m looking for, but the Amazfit is twice as expensive. Is there something special about the Amazfit that the Redmi Watch 5 Lite doesn’t have? I liked my Band 5, but paying double the price for basically the same features doesn’t seem worth it.

Any thoughts on this? Or am I missing another brand that’s a better option?

Here’s one comparison:

Scroll down, and you’ll see lots of features the Amazfit has that the Redmi doesn’t.
BUT, whether those differences matter to you is a whole different question. If they don’t, then there’s no reason to pay extra.

Oops, thanks for the fix! Correct link above.

@Keaton
This comparison is wrong, it’s between the old Redmi watch, not the Watch 5 Lite.
