Hey, I bought two new watches recently, the Garmin 255 Music and the Apple Series 9. I can’t decide which one to go for. What are your thoughts? Which one should I choose?
There’s no single ‘best’ all-around watch. It really depends on what you need, your budget, and what you like in terms of looks.

Exactly! Everyone has different needs, so what’s best for one person might not be for another.
What’s the main thing you need a smartwatch for?
I’ve got a TicWatch Atlas, and honestly, it does everything I could ask for. For non-fitness stuff, it has an app store for anything you might want, even got a browser on there.
For fitness, the stats are super accurate, like heart rate and blood oxygen levels match up with official ambulance equipment.
It tracks steps, calories, and daily goals, plus it tells you your heart rate status like resting, warming up, or working out.
Sleep tracking is spot on too – it tracks light sleep, deep sleep, REM sleep, and shows a chart of when you wake up during the night. It also tracks how long each sleep phase lasts.
Battery life is great, and it charges super fast – 0-100% in like 30 minutes! And 0-85% in about 10 minutes (not sure why the last 15% takes longer, maybe to save battery).
Overall, it’s a great watch with too many features to list here. It’s more expensive, but if budget isn’t a concern, I’d recommend it.
I prefer Huawei. I’ve got the D2 model, and it’s got this inflatable tube to measure blood pressure. It’s really accurate. Sleep tracking is great too. Battery can last up to two weeks.
Heart tracking is excellent, and I love how it integrates with the Huawei Health app, which syncs with my Huawei scale to track my weight.
Some people need a payment option on the watch, but for me, it’s fine since I can just use my phone for that.
