I’m trying to decide between the Pixel Watch 3 and Huawei GT5 Pro 42mm for health tracking. Which one do you think is better?
The Pixel Watch 3 has really good heart rate sensors and uses the Fitbit app, which makes the data easy to read. Some advanced features might need a subscription, but I think it’s waived for Pixel Watch 3 users. You might want to double-check that.
The Huawei has solid heart rate tracking too, but their health data isn’t as polished. It feels just okay compared to the Pixel.

Which one would you pick? The fact that the Huawei GT5 Pro 42mm lasts 5 or 6 days on a single charge is pretty cool, especially compared to the Pixel Watch that needs charging daily.

It really depends on what matters most to you. Battery life might be a big deal for some people, while others might care more about the health tracking quality. It’s all about what fits your needs.

I’d still recommend the Pixel Watch 3 for better health tracking. But if battery life is really important, maybe check out the Garmin Vivoactive 5. It’s not as stylish as the GT5 Pro, and it doesn’t have a mic or speaker (the Venu 3 has those), but Garmin does a better job turning raw data into useful health insights.

I was considering the Garmin Venu 3, but ECG isn’t available in my country (Italy), so that’s a bit of a dealbreaker for me.

I also think the GT5 Pro 42mm White looks amazing. Even though it’s marketed more for women, I’m seriously thinking about getting it anyway. It just looks so good.
