Hey everyone, I was hopping that y’all could give me some help finding a good watch. I am looking for a cheapish watch, and the only features I really care about is good watchfaces, good battery life, get notifications from my phone(and maybe be able to respond to messages), and control spotify/media volume. Beyond that I don’t really care about anything else like health traking stuff and so on. I was looking at the cmf watch pro 2 which seemed like what I was looking for and a very solid price, but saw some reviews that said it had some weird connection issues particularly with the spotify app. So hopefully there’s a good alternative in the same price bracket, or if you have had good experiences with the cmf and I should just go with that
Amazfit Bip series they’re pretty affordable, have great battery life.
I have the Amazfit 7. It’s a pedometer, workout tracker, and sleep tracker.
It’s cheap, durable, and comfortable.
Huawei - make some best looking watches that feel good and they have some really awesome looking watch faces, that make them look close to how a mechanical looks (assuming its an analog face).
One of my children has an Amazefit Bip 3. I think she’s had it going on two years and is very happy with it.
I just ordered my oldest an Amazefit Active, partially based on reviews that I found on Reddit. Amazon had a good price on them on Prime Days this week.
Both models are less than $100 (or were when I bought them).
You don’t say what phone you have. If it’s a Samsung, try an older version of the Galaxy Watch. I viewed some on the Facebook Marketplace near me for around $100.
The respond part and spotify will limit you options, otherwise even most cheap dumb Chinese smart watch would do it.
Their issues are usually mediocre or poor software/firmware and lacking accuracy in health data, but that should not affect your use case. They typically got stamina of two to six weeks on a charge. And they are dirt cheap…
But to get Spotify you will need to go in the advanced end, and unfortunately the more powerful watches eat power a lot faster and some only last a day or two on a charge…
