Looking for a budget smartwatch with accurate sensors… any suggestions?

I’m thinking about getting the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Pro, but it’s a bit expensive. Are there any good budget-friendly Chinese smartwatches that offer accurate health sensors like heart rate, ECG, or SpO2?

What do you mean by ‘accurate’? Can you be more specific about what you’re looking for?

Do you really need all the features the GT5 Pro has? The standard GT5 is quite a bit cheaper and might have what you’re looking for.

It looks like the GT5 is missing the ECG feature.

@West
Do you really need ECG? If you don’t have a heart condition that can be monitored by a smartwatch ECG, then it may not be necessary. If you’re just trying to use the ECG to check for heart issues, it could be misleading, as it can’t detect all conditions. You could think you’re fine when you’re not. If you do have a condition that requires monitoring, then it might be helpful, but otherwise, it might not offer much benefit.

Here’s some info on Huawei’s ECG feature: it’s designed for people 18 and older, and it’s not meant to replace a doctor’s diagnosis. It’s more for personal reference. The ECG service is only available in certain countries, so you’ll want to check if it’s available in your region before purchasing. Huawei’s ECG app isn’t available in all areas, so you’ll want to verify that too before relying on it.

If you want more details, here’s the official info: https://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/content/en-us15888936/

Their website wording can be a bit unclear, so make sure you know what you’re getting into before relying on it for health monitoring.

@Stevie
u/jaamgans Thanks for the helpful info! Since I don’t have a heart condition, I guess the ECG feature isn’t necessary for me.
