I’ve got a Huawei GT 2 and I’m thinking about upgrading. I need a watch with solid battery life. Features like being able to call are a must, and texting would be nice too. Since I already have a Xiaomi phone, I thought about sticking to their ecosystem, but their watches don’t look appealing to me.
Also, does anyone still use the Huawei GT 2? I’m trying to enable notifications, but when I go to give the permission, it says it’s disabled for my safety. Any tips?
Huawei’s battery life is good, but I wouldn’t call it the best. If you’re comparing health tracking too, brands like Coros, Suunto, and Garmin are better, depending on the model. Amazfit also offers decent battery life but isn’t as strong on health tracking compared to Garmin.
Huawei watches are still a great deal for the price. Not the absolute best, but still very good. For notifications, I had the same problem. Go to Settings > Apps > Huawei Health > Allow restricted settings, and that should fix it.
Huawei’s battery life is fantastic. I have the D2, and it lasts up to 14 days. I love the health features too. I’m excited to see what their next watch will offer. Maybe something like a glucose sensor would be a cool addition!
