I’m thinking of getting a Samsung smartwatch, but I’m worried about how long the battery will last and if I can replace it when it wears out. Has anyone had experience replacing the batteries in Samsung smartwatches? Are there certain models where replacing the battery is easier?
I’m sure it’s not impossible. But what I’m noticing is that these companies seem to want us to buy a new smartwatch once the battery starts failing after just 2-5 years. And they cost as much as high-quality watches that get passed down through families. Smartwatches just aren’t built to last.
I wonder if Garmin owners have the same issue? Garmin watches are pretty pricey.

Yeah, if the smartwatch costs under $100, we can replace the battery after a few years, but if it’s over $200, it should come with the option for a battery replacement. But right now, no companies are guaranteeing that, which doesn’t feel fair.
