I just got the Huawei Watch D2 today, and I’m pretty impressed so far. When it inflates to measure blood pressure, it’s completely silent—you wouldn’t even notice it inflating the wristband.
The screen is super bright and a great size. The only downside is the thickness, but I guess that’s expected with all the tech it has packed inside.
I love that it has wireless charging without any visible contact points, similar to Apple and Samsung watches. It’s definitely better than the Pixel Watch in this regard.
I had no issues setting it up on my Vivo X Fold3 Pro (China ROM), and everything is working smoothly so far.
I’m thinking about getting this watch, but I just saw a Wellue Blood Pressure Watch that’s way cheaper. From your experience, does the Huawei seem worth the extra cost?

I don’t know much about the Wellue device, but I saw that it’s about half the price of the Huawei Watch D2. The Huawei feels more complete—it has ECG, skin temperature sensors, and a bunch of other health features. It might be more than I personally need, but it’s on par with Apple Watch quality and offers way more features than Apple Watches.
Another question… does it press hard on your wrist when it inflates? And does it adjust to your previous readings to make it more comfortable over time? Some devices check while inflating, and others while deflating, and the latter is supposed to be gentler.
@Finch
It’s actually very gentle. You can feel some pressure, but it’s way more comfortable than the standard upper-arm cuffs.
The watch also shows your trends (daily, weekly, monthly). So far, mine shows everything as normal because it’s within the healthy range. I’ve followed the instructions for measuring and had no issues—four successful readings out of four tries.
